API Access
The RoboX platform includes tools for developers, researchers, and robotics organizations to integrate or fund data missions. During the launch phase, API and SDK access will be limited to selected partners, expanding publicly after the token rollout.
Developer Portal (Phase II)
The RoboX Developer Portal will provide authenticated access to:
Mission Registry: List of completed and active missions.
Dataset API: Programmatic access to aggregated, anonymized datasets.
Funding Dashboard: Interface to create and manage data campaigns.
Analytics Suite: Tools for performance tracking, reward statistics, and data quality visualization.
Access Levels
Public API
Open access to anonymized, non-sensitive datasets
Q2 Launch
Research Tier
Academic and institutional access under non-commercial license
Q3 Launch
Enterprise Tier
Full mission management, API write permissions, and funding tools
Q4 Launch
Getting Started
1. Request Access
Submit an API access request at robox.to/api-access. Include:
Organization name and type
Intended use case
Estimated data volume needs
Technical contact information
Applications are reviewed within 5 business days.
2. Receive Credentials
Approved applicants receive:
API key (for authentication)
Documentation access
Sandbox environment credentials
Support channel access
3. Explore Sandbox
The sandbox environment contains sample datasets for integration testing. Sandbox data is synthetic, not real collector data but matches production data formats exactly.
4. Production Access
Once integration is tested, request production access upgrade. Production provides access to live datasets.
Data Retrieval API
Authorized users can request aggregated datasets through REST endpoints (coming soon). Responses include:
Dataset summary and coverage map
Data schema and file structure
Download link or live stream endpoint (for dynamic missions)
