RoboX Lens (Coming Soon)
Smartphone-based collection covers a wide range of use cases, but has structural limits for imitation learning: inconsistent device placement across pockets, hands, and bags; missing gaze and attention signals; and behavior distortion from handheld recording.
RoboX Lens is a planned head-mounted wearable designed to capture what smartphones can't: stable, gaze-aligned, hands-free egocentric video.
Target capabilities:
Gaze-aligned RGB video from head level
High-frequency IMU data for head orientation and movement tracking
6DoF trajectory estimation combining IMU with visual odometry
Directional audio capture
Target use cases:
Humanoid robotics training with natural head movement data
Indoor navigation and spatial reasoning research
Activity recognition and object interaction modeling
Lens is currently in the research and design phase. Hardware specifications and pilot details will be shared as development progresses.
