Introduction

RoboX is the first data network for robotics imitation training.

It turns smartphones into distributed sensing infrastructure, capturing egocentric sensor data from real human movement. These streams of anonymized data feed into structured datasets used to train navigation systems, perception models, and humanoid robots.

Instead of deploying expensive fleets of specialized vehicles or relying on controlled lab environments, RoboX distributes data collection across thousands of people already moving through real environments. Every phone that joins a campaign becomes part of a global data collection infrastructure.

How It Works

  1. Select a Campaign: Choose from active data missions.

  2. Collect Passively: The phone performs short, scheduled background measurements during active campaigns.

  3. Auto-Anonymize: Sensitive identifiers are stripped on-device before any data is processed.

  4. Access the Data: Aggregated and anonymized datasets flow to robotics labs via API.

Privacy by Design

All personal identifiers are stripped away before data ever leaves the phone. Everything is processed locally and securely.

  • No exact locations are stored or shared

  • Faces, plates, and identifying details are removed on-device

  • Data is encrypted before transmission

  • Delete your data anytime through Privacy Controls
